Indenture between Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester, and William Waynflete, clerk, Provost of Eton. By Letters Patent of 1 December last the King granted the duke certain annuities for his life from divers farms and customs in recompense for certain other rents, farms, annuities etc, to the intent that the duke should release all his estate in the latter to the Provost and College [although this is not stated in the Patent]. The duke now undertakes to make the said release as soon as it may be done after due allowance be had to them unto whom it belongs in the Exchequer to make the payment to the duke for the first year of the said farms and customs granted him by the said Letters Patent, by a sealed deed of surrender to be delivered to the Provost. In the meantime he grants the Provost and College all the said rents, farms etc, as set out in an attached schedule, from Michaelmas last for one year. Given at Westminster.

The indenture in English, the schedule Latin
