Grant by William Newman to Denise de Pynkeny of a cottage with garden adjacent, which formerly belonged to Julian Robard, at Wodemancote in the parish of Cokham; together with a rent of 11s and 4 working days in autumn, to be paid from diverse tenants, viz, Richard atte Hacche 2s 2d and 2 working days, Isabel Thurstayn 2s 6d, Agnes Andrew 18d and 2 days for a cottage formerly of Adam Andrew at le Dene, Isabel atte Pyrye for a meadow called Stenech 2s 6d and for diverse lands held of the grantor 6¾d, William Lowches for diverse lands held of the grantor 9d, Geoffrey atte Forde for lands and a meadow called Wycchemere in the field called Sutton 6d, John Caylmersh, vicar of Cokham for a meadow called Appesmede 6d.
Witnesses: John Terry, William atte More, William Lowches, John Hereward, John Babaham.
Cokham, Saturday the Feast of SS Peter and Paul Apostles 10 Richard II (29 June 1386, Friday). If we suppose "10" to be a mistake for "11", the date will be 29 June 1387 which falls on a Saturday.
