Cookham, Bray and Maidenhead, Berkshire: Grant of tenement with curtilage

Grant by Richard Chambur and Richard Newenham, of Maydenhuth, to Joan, wife of the late John Kake of a tenement with a curtilage adjacent and half an acre of pasture in Puddynguscroft, which they lately held by feoffment of the said John Kake, in Cokham, for the term of her life, "absque impeticione seu calumpnia alicuius vasti preter rasuram domorum", with reversion to the right heirs of John Kake.

Two seals, red wax, on doubled tags.

(2) Round, 12mm. Beneath a crown R. A legend.
