Consent by William Pecke, esquire, and Richard Newenham, skynner, of Maydenhith, to the cancellation, for £4 to be paid to them in yearly instalments of 20s, for a grant to them dated 20 July 1427, by William Hacker, son and heir of Margaret Heyward, of Braye, of an upper room (solarium) with a house at the south end of the same at Maydenhith in Braye between a messuage sometime of the said Margaret on the west and a messuage sometime of John Baker on the east extending on to the King's way from Maydenhith towards the north and towards the south upon a certain well sometime of the said Margaret, and a moiety of a grange with a garden adjacent and 2 acres 1 rood of arable in Braye and Cokham of which the moiety of a grange lies at Maydenhith between a garden sometime of the said Margaret on the east and land sometime of Richard Fotour and Robert Gascoyne, formerly of the said Margaret, on the west, one end extending upon another moiety of the said grange to the north and the other upon a garden sometime of Robert Baker to the south, and one between land sometime of John Ferrour on the north and land sometime of Ellen Hynden on the south and one half acre lies in Bray Rye between land sometime of John Brasyer on the east and land sometime of Edmund Warwyk on the west, and the other half acre lies in Braye next le Kynggesokes between land sometime of Edmund Warwyk on the west and land sometime of William Robert on the east, and the rood lies in Braye between land sometime of Richard Horne on the south and land sometime of the said Margaret on the north.
