Indenture of lease by John Monkedon to John Watlyngton, junior, of Cokham, of a field lying next le Hereward at Wodemancotes in Cokham, extending in length as far as the common field called Eldefeld. From Michaelmas next for 5 years. Rent 20s. The said John Monkedon to look after and repair the enclosure of a hedge called le Hedehege and also from the said le Hedehege a moiety of the enclosure of the hedges of the said field in the northern part, and the said John Watlyngton to look after the remainder of the hedges of the said field and to have two carts of wood at the delivery of the said John Monkedon or of himself.
