Indenture, between Elizabeth Bayly, widow, Alexander Staples, of New Windsor, gentleman, and John Redman, gentleman, of one part and the Rev. Matthew Tate, vicar of Burneham, and Peter Styles and John Edgeson, the younger, both of Burneham, yeomen, churchwardens there, of the other part, by which the former, for £120 assign to the latter a mortgage of the premises. By indenture of 18 May 1731 Elizabeth Bayly had mortgaged the same, for £40 to Alexander Staples, and on 1 July 1731 for a further £20, which said sums were paid to Staples by John Redman on 24 November 173[6].
