Indenture of articles, agreed between the Provost and College of one part and William Morgan, of Lanterham, esquire, of the other.
The College agrees that, although by his lease of 20 February 1563 Morgan is bound to pay the College yearly 30 oxen of which 15 are to be in height one yard and a half and 3 inches and in length 2 yards and a quarter, abnd the other 15 in height a yard and a half lacking half an inch and in length 2 yards a half quarter and half an inch, from now onwards the College will accept from Morgan 30 oxen, by they higher or lower, longer or shorter, provided every ox contains in weight 70 stone of beef, every stone to contain 8 pounds, or if any oxen shall not contain such weight that the weight be made up on other oxen so that the full weight is supplied. Morgan agrees that none of the oxen shall be under 6 or over 11 years.
