Counterpart of agreement between the Provost and College and William Morgan, of Lanternam, esquire. By indenture of 20 February 1563, in consideration of a rent of £53 10s and the provision of 30 fat beasts as stated in the indenture, the College leased to Morgan the priory and manors of Goldcliff, Nasshe and Coldry, from Michaelmas next after the date of the indenture or upon the expiry of a former lease for 80 years. Not the lessee covenants to pay the whole of the said rent, both money and beasts, and if he fails the lessors may enter and distrain.
