Draft of letter from J[ohn] H[ales], bursar of Eton College, writing on behalf of the College to Mr Morgan to ask the meaning of Mr Dunford's action. Dunford, Morgan's servant and undertenant for Goldcliffe, had come to Eton last St James tide and instead of providing the oxen then due, as for a long time has been done, tendered a sum of money far short of the oxen and of what he himself formerly paid.
