Letter, not dated [James I ?], from someone acquainted with the Provost and Fellows and wishing the College well, to someone who had, he believes, been educated at Eton, and who possessed great influence in Goldcliff, to persuade the tenants of the manor to pay to the present lessee certain rents and dues to which they were liable and which, until lately, they had paid.
