Counterpart of lease, by the Provost to Thomas Cecill, of Burlegh, co. Northants, esquire, of the rectory of Thurlebye and the scite of the same with all its appurtenances, excepting wards, marriages, escheats, reliefs, and all great trees and the advowson of the vicarage.
From Michaelmas 1580, or the expiry of a lease of Harby's lease, for 40 years. Rent 20 quarters of malt, and £13 8s, an a boar at Christmas, or 20s for the boar.

Seal, round, about 22mm, red wax, on doubled tag, the lower left quarter chipped away. Armorial, Cecil quartering?
