Indenture of covenant, between John Barber, of Brothertoft, co. Lincoln, yeoman, and Robert Saul, of Frampton West End in Frampton, yeoman, in consideration of a marriage to be had between the said Barber and Elizabeth Chapman, of Heckington, and for a competent jointure for the said Elizabeth in case he shall pre-decease her, by which John Barber grants that 1½ acres of pasture in Wiberton in a place called Wiberton West End between the King's land on the south and the lands of the heirs of Skinner on the north, abutting on a highway to the east and west, now in the occupation of Thomas Brumpton, are to be held by John and Elizabeth for their lives in survivorship with remainder to the heirs of the body of Elizabeth by John, with remainder to the right heirs of John.
