George Pochin, Bourn, to the Provost. He has had proposals from Mr Johnson, who is the impropriator of the lordship of Wytham, in which he (Pochin) is a considerable proprietor and the College likewise has two acres in those open fields which are occupied by the tenant of Thurlby, for enclosing the remainder of that lordship, part of which was enclosed about 20 years since. The terms agreed are much more advantageous to the proprietors than those offered to the College agent at Thurlby and he hopes the College will have no objection to the improvement.
