Content description
Ordinance by Henry, archbishop of Canterbury, for the augmentation of the vicarage of Polyng in the diocese of Chichester, the revenues of which he has found by inquisition to be insufficient in these days to the adequate cure of souls. The vicar in future is to receive both the greater and the lesser tythes in the said parish, together with all oblations and enrolments whatever pertaining to the church.
