Content description
Gr Ainscombe, from his chamber in the Inner Temple near Ram Alley end, to master Adam Robyns at Eton College, asking the College to write "effectuallie and sharplye" to Mr Anthony Hobson, vicar of Leomynster, concerning his encroachments. By a composition remaining of record in the College, the said vicar is bound to office and chapel of Warning Campe, which he has neglected. Meanwhile he overreaches the composition by encroaching on the College farmers, taking from them tythe hay and many other tythes growing upon the lanes there.
