Memorandum of surrender by Richard Theed, of Hitchenden alias Hugenden, wheelwright, Elizabeth, his wife, John Costard, yeoman, Sarah, his wife, Susannah Costard, spinster, and Anne Costard, spinster, of a messuage and 2 closes, containing 4 acres, and 3 parcels in Upper Northfield in Lockendon furlong, containing 1 1/2 acres, and 4 parcels in Middle Northfield, containing 2 acres, 2 of them in Brook furlong and 2 in Lockendon furlong, and a parcel in Lower Northfield shooting to Lockendon furlong, containing 1/2 acre, and 4 parcels in Westfield, containing 3 acres, and 4 acres in Lower Wineyard, and 4 parcels in Southfield, 1 in Lower Betham (or Netham) and 3 in Upper Betham (or Netham), containing 4 acres. The premises are or were called Burley (or Durley).
