Memorandum of surrender by Thomas Brooks, the elder, by the hands of William Stevens and James Walker, of a cottage called the Foord, adjoining the Foord river on the north and east and the orchard of James Walker on the west, and 3 acres of arable, viz. 2 acres in the Middle Northfield in a furlong called Lockindon furlong, abutting on Lockindon Hedge, and the other acre in the Upper Northfield in Brook furlong, abutting on the Foord river on the south and west, to the use of such persons as he shall devise in his last will.
