Bledlow, Buckinghamshire: Letter concerning cutting down trees
Item
23 July 1827
2 folios
Jos. Jas. Harper, Bledlow, to the Rev Mr Bethel. He has cut down two oak trees. He fears that the lessees will not be able to renew. The debt still due to Mr Spiers is £3080. He hears Mr Grover is preaching at Burnham on Thursday and will ride over if he can "as I am sure I shall be greatly edified and I have seldom an opportunity of hearing any member of Eton College."
