Letters patent of Adam de Hale, Keeper of the spirituality of the bishopric of Winchester sede vacante, announcing that he has admitted and instituted dominus Robertus called Rotarious, priest, to the vicarage of the church of Ellingham at the presentation of brother Thomas, proctor of the abbey of St Sauveur pf Coutances.
Wincester.
Seal of the consistory of Winchester, pointed oval, about 45 x 30mm, brownish wax, on doubled tag. Two panels: in the upper which is slightly smaller, two saints, half length; in the lower two prelates three quarter length. SIG CONSISTORII WINTONIENSIS. On a strip between two compartments, JUSTE JUBILATE. The Seal is in a green cloth case.
