Copy of tripartite indenture, between Michael Blount, of the liberty of Mapledurham Gurney, esquire, of the first part, John Atkyns Wright, of Crowsley Park, and Richard Clerke, of Kingstone, co. Oxford, esquires, (commissioners specially appointed for the purposes of an Act for making perpetual subject to redemption and purchase in the manner therein stated the several sums of money charged in Great Britain as a Land Tax for one year from 25 March 1798 and of several other Acts to explain and amend the said Act for the county of Oxford) of the second part, and Townley Ward, of Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, esquire, of the third part, by which Blount, with the consent of the commissioners and in consideration of the payment by Ward of £383 12s into the Bank of England to the account of the Commissioners for the reduction of the National Debt under title "An account of the sale of the Land Tax", sells a close of arable called Mill Field containing 10 acres 1 rood 26 perches in the liberty of Mapledurham Gurney, and another close of arable called Lamb's Pightle containing 1 acre 1 rood in the same, and a piece of garden ground near the vicarage house containing ½ acre. To hold free of all Land Tax.
