In the Exchequer.
William Day v. Walter Blount and Richard Fletcher, for non-payment of rent for tythes.
Notification from William Knollys and Thomas Brigham to Walter Blounte, esquire, of their intention, by virtue of their commission, to hold their examination of witnesses at Henry Laly's house on 15 October. In deference to the wishes of Walter Blounte and Richard Fletcher, gentleman, the other defendant, this date has been appointed rather than 20 October as previously notified.
Signatures of Knollys and Brigham.
Seals, red, applied.
(1) Octagonal, 13 x 10mm. Armorial: First and fourth, on a field semee of crosses crosslet, a cross moline, second and third, on a chevron three roses. Helmet, mantling, crest an elephant (Knollys).
(2) Oval, 15 x 13mm. Armorial: a fleur de lys between eight martlets in orle (Brigham).
And on the same sheet statement by the defendants that they have been duly notified.
