Indenture of receipt by Richard Burton from master William Waynflete, Provost, of various sums for the building works of the College, viz. from the Provost himself at the College on 14 October 1446, £13 6s 8d; from the same at the College on 15 October, 100s' from the same at the College on 27 October, £20; from master John Clerke, Vice-Provost, at the College on 5 November, £13 6s 8d; from the same at the College on 10 November, £26 13s 4d; from master Robert Hesyl and Thomas Rolre (?) in London on 24 November, £134 and on the same day £40; from Henry Vavasour at Eton on 20 December, £63 4s 6¾d; from the Receiver General of the Duchy of Lancaster at Eton on 29 December, £80 6s 8d; from the same at London at 6 February [1447], £153; from the same at Westminster on 25 November, £7 3s; from the same on 23 March, £30; from the same on 18 February, £200; from the same on 18 May, £50; from the Provost on 31 March, £66 13s 4d; from the Receiver General on 3 July £66 13s 4d.
