Certificate by Sir Andrew Bayntyn, baronet, and Francis Dugdale Astley, esquire, two of the Commissioners appointed for the purposes of an Act, intituled "An Act for making perpetual, subject to Redemption and Purchase in the manner therein stated, the several sums of money now charged in Great Britain as a land tax for one year, from the twenty-fifth day of March one thousand seven hundred and ninety-eight" for the County of Wilts, that they have contracted with the College of Eton for the redemption by them of £8 1s 9d Land Tax, being the Land Tax charged upon lands (specified) in Norton Bavant and Warminster. The consideration for the Redemption is £296 10s 10d Capital Stock in the consolidated 3% Bank annunities or in the reduced 3% Bank annuities, to be transferred by twelve instalments between 1 May 1800 and 1 February 1803.
