Indenture of lease, by Ann Wessell, of Ewell, Surrey, widow, to the Provost and College of a piece of ground or island called Kitchin Close, part of which is a garden, containing 2 acres, in Eton, founded by a new cutt or watercourse lately made from the Brewhouse Wall of the College to the Thames on the north, by the Thames on the east, by a ground called the Cherry Ground otherwise Tangier on the south, and by a close called Outward Bullocks, now in the occupation of Richard Woollhouse on the west. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent £6. The lessees to maintain all ditches, gates, watercourses, mounds and fences on the premises.
