Content description
Indented articles of agreement, between John Hawtrey, clerk, bursar of Eton College and John Beard, of Cookham, co. Berks, yeoman. For £60 Beard may cut down all the underwoods in the three coppices at Woodman Coates in Cookham, containing 20 acres, except young oaks, to be marked by Thomas Sexton, surveyor of the College woods, for standalls and storers to remain upon every acre. The parties bind themselves in £120 for the observance of the foregoing.
