Content description
Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to William Tomkins, of New Broad Street, London, upholsterer, upon surrender of the foregoing, of a tenement with a little barn and a garden appertaining in Maidenhead, and an acre of arable lying in two pieces in the field called the North Towne filde in Cookeham. From Michaelmas last for 20 years. Rent 8s 10¾d and 1½ bushels of wheat and 5 bushels ½ peck of malt, or their money equivalent.

Seal, oval, about 20 x 15mm, black wax, applied. Armorial, on a bend cotised three lions passant. Examined by William Hetherington.
