Content description
Admission at a court of the manor of Crondall held on 13 September 1638, of John Hockley and Anne, his wife, to a messuage, garden, orchard and ½ virgate of land in Yatley called Inshotts, and a cottage and garden, with a curtilage adjacent, containing 1½ acres of wood in Yatley. The premises had been surrendered out of court to Henry Foyle, esquire, steward, by the said John and Anne for their lives in survivorship with remainder to John Hockley, their son. For the customary rents and services. Fine 2d, from John and Anne, and 6s 8d from John, the son. No heriot.
