At a court of the manor of Croundall held on 22 September 1636, licence to John Hockley and Anne, his wife, to lease a messuage and ½ virgate of land called Bromhams, a messuage, a garden, an orchard and ½ virgate of land called Inshotts, and a cottage with a garden and curtilage and a furlong of land in Yatley, for a term of 21 years from Michaelmas next. Fine 7s.
