Admission at a court of the manor of Crondall held on 14 October 1657, of John Hockley to a messuage or tenement, an orchard, a barn and a backside, with half a yardland belonging, called Pottlehill, in Yately, for his life with remainder to Amy, his now wife, and afterwards, to their right heirs. For the customary rents and services. Fine 6d from John and 1d from Amy. John Hawkins and Anthony Frensham, two customary tenants, presented the surrender of the foregoing made to them by John Hockley.
