Memorandum of surrender, by John Hockly, a customary tenant of the manor of Crondall, by the acceptance of James Clarke and Edward Stent, two tenants, of three pieces of land called parks, containing 5 acres, another piece called White Croft containing 2 acres, another piece called Derby Close containing 2 acres, a piece of meadow called Littell Mead containing ½ acre, and 7 other pieces containing altogether 5 acres, and a piece called Wilkes containing 2 acres, all the premises being in Yately, to the use of James Hockly, his son, and Sarah, his wife, for their lives in survivorship, with remainder to John, son of the said James and his heirs. Should the said John Hockly, senior, be alive at the end of the next Court Baron this surrender to be void.
