Last will and testament of James Hockley, of Yately, husbandman. He leaves to his son John all his real and personal estate, from which he is to pay out the following bequests:
To his wife Sarah £7 a year for her life.
To his daughter Sarah Webb, wife of James Webb, £30.
To his daughter Mary Sharpe, wife of Robert Sharpe, £30.
To his three daughters, Anne, Martha and Anna Hockley, £90 to be equally divided between them, share and share alike.
If any of the latter three daughters shall die unmarried before the death of Sarah Hockley, then her or their shares shall go to the survivor or survivors of the unmarried daughters.
The legacies to be paid within a year of the decease of Sarah.
Sarah to take as much as she thinks necessary of the house, goods and furniture for her own use.
John Hockley to be sole executor.
Witnesses: William Nunns, Edward Stent, Ann Stent.
