Indenture of bargain and sale, by Edward Stent, of Yately, labourer, for 5s, to John Hockley, of the same, husbandman, of all his household goods, beds, bedding, linen, woollen, pewter, brass, etc, used in his messuage in Yately. And assignment to Hockley of a note of hand for £10. Hockley in return shall allow Stent and his wife, and the longer liver of them, to enjoy the said goods and chattles for their lives, and pay them yearly £7 8s and the survivor of them £3 14s.

Seal, oval, originally about 25 x 15mm, chipped at edges, red wax, applied. A bearded profile. Witnesses: William Searle, John Thomas Cave.
