Memorandum of surrender, by Edward Stent, a customary tenant of the manor of Crondall, by the acceptance of William Searle and Edmund Pittman, two tenants, of a messuage or tenement, an orchard, barn, backside, with a half yard land belonging, called Pottle Hillwith in Yately, co. Hants, to the use of John Hockley, of Yately, husbandman for a rent to Stent of £12 12s for the joint lives of Stent and Ann, his wife, and after the decease of one of them, of a rent of £6 6s to the survivor for the life of the same.
