Oakley and Clapham, Bedfordshire: Counterpart of lease

Counterpart of lease, by the College, for £542 18s 2d, and the surrender of his former lease, to Francis, Duke of Bedford, of the Rectory and Parsonage of Okeley, with all houses, barns, edifices, buildings, orchards, gardens, yards, glebe lands, meadows, pastures, feedings, waters, fishing and other commodities appertaining thereto, and tithes of corn, hay and wood, and the tithes of Bayhouse Wood in Clapham, and all other tithes appertaining within the parish precincts and bounds of Okeley and Clapham, parcel of the said Rectory; except the advowson of the Vicarage of Okeley and of the chapel of Clapham, with their own woods and tithes, and all rents etc. belonging to the manor of Okeley and Clapham always reserved to the lessors. From 10th October last for 10 years. Rent £8 and 232 gallons of wheat and 576 gallons of malt, or their money equivalent, together with £18 in consideration of the Redemption of Land Tax.
