A mixture of journal entries, rough notes and drafts of the final accounts laid out under tituli. Only one year's accounts can be definitely dated, having a formal heading (1536-1537) but references in the text and comparison with the audit books enables other years to be identified with some certainty. Occasional datings have been inserted in a variety of hands, possibly based on wrappers lost in binding. There are certainly entries for 1527/28, 1529/30, 1531/32 1 1532/33, 1538/39, 1540/41
