A mixture of journal entries, memoranda, and entries under headings. Many blank leaves, 1547-1548, 1548, 1549-1550, 1552-1553 have original titles (ffs.67; 115, 167, 272). Entries reversed from rear of the book after f.206. [1541/2 at start of this volume]
p.157v “Bill” signed by the Provost's servant Walter James certifying that Bursars Willat and Riley have received of the Provost by James £157 5s 1d; £130 4s for 42 pounds of old plate, the rest for James' wages, items of board and allowance etc. 2 April 1549.
p.158v Receipt of James for £157 5s 1d, part of money owed to the Provost for various specified items, 2 April 1549.
