Edmond Warre (1837-1920) was at Eton 1849-1854 in the house of Mrs Vav, F. Vidal and W.B. Marriott, with E.C and Marriott as his tutors. He was Newcastle Scholar 1854, and won the School Pulling that year. He was Assistant Master 1860-1884, Head Master of Eton 1884-1904, and Provost of Eton 1909-1918
