Content description
Writes that his knee is feeling better, and that he went to Britwell Court on Thursday. Complains that it is such a mess, and cannot understand some of the alterations. Burn nearly ate him up [horse or pet?]. Complains that it has been so cold, particularly the wind. Added more to the letter on the 9th October: says that the tower rooms are very nice. Does not know what he wants for his birthday, as there is so much that he wants. Edward provides a list on the right hand side, which includes a bicycle, scarf, a watch-chain and a coat.
