Informing his Father that the 'Bangle Lad' heard nothing about the calves being sent to Kircassock. Talks about crossing with Mr and Mrs Denny, Mr Phipson and Miss Wylands. Walker is pleased with the new horse he has bought, which he has named Limerick. Mr Macnaughten and Mr Cotton do not think Edward needs extra tuition. Geoffrey's room is looking better now his mantlepiece is up. Asks what Frank would want with his photos. Firman said that he was eying out for money before he left. Edward is up in middle remove to Mr Booker (known as the babe). Apologies for the quality of his writing, as the letter was written in haste.
