Edward Christie-Miller: Letter to his Father
Item
c.1893 - 1898
1
Dated 18th October. Thanks his father for his letter and the advice within it. Complains of poor weather, referencing hurricanes. Is glad that his father enjoyed his letters. Gillian asked him to dinner (presumably an Eton friend), to meet his people. Edward has met his father before. Edward had a nice time. Was brought some Pheasants from Walker. Received a letter from Charles. Reports on the death of the Archbishop. Talks of his father teaching the M'Culloughs not to kill horses again. Finishes by telling his father of a delicious cake he had eaten.
