Edward Christie-Miller: Letter to his Father
Item
c.1893 - 1898
1
Proudly tells his father that he got into middle division and passed his paper. Complains of having a poor journey and feeling very tired when he got back to Eton for the paper. Hasn't been to Britwell Court yet, but hopes to soon. Talks of Graham and him getting a very nice sliding seat wth storage; they got on very well. Has had a cleaning out of his rubbish. Jovially talks of people being so thirsty, as they kept drinking his health. Asks his father if he had a lawsuit and gave a brief to a man called Kirby.
