Dated 2 December. Tells his father that he came back (to Eton) on Friday night after having a nice time at Lowther Gardens. On Wednesday he attended the Patti Concert at the Royal Albert Hall. She sang Home Sweet Home and Thou Last Rose of Summer. He told Edward that Captian Wood nearly died of Typhoid a few weeks ago at Dublin. They have seen a lot of Miss Savile. Edward saw the queen yesterday driving out of the castle. Edward is glad that his father is coming back soon, and that he is better.
