Title
Fanny Keate: Letter from Countess Pauline Neale
Level
Item
Date
1810
Content description
From '38 South Audley St. Tuesday morning the 5th'. Mrs Bathurst (?) had sent back a parcel of important papers probably belonging to the Countess's father. Describes a miserable evening at a smart social occasion given by Lady Glenbervie (?) where she longed to be 'unseen'. Thinks her hopes of seeing the Prince's installation will be defeated. He gains more and more credit by his wise behaviour. She is invited to stay at the Dhss's house during her sons absence so will not get to see Fanny for a bit.
