Sending congratulations for Louisa's engagement and sentiments for Gina about to travel from Ceylon to join the Keates. That she is a loveable child and all he can send with her is his prayers that in her future home that her adoptive parents will be as dutiful to her as her own are with her now. In Colombo they are deteriorating socially, morally and politically with little hope of improvement.
