Mrs Hoseason has written 'cross and cross' about Cromer. Dr Brown provides more advice about lodgings at Cromer which he received from Mr Park. Advises against staying at the Inn run by an old smuggler Tucker. 4 wheeled carriages get stuck in the sand whereas a gig is better. Advises Dr Keate to order wine in advance from Lynn, better and cheaper than Cromer.
