Title
Margaretta Brown: Letter from Fanny Keate
Level
Item
Date
19th Century
Content description
From Launceston? Left Eton at 6am and arrived an hour earlier than the Bishop expected them at half past five. Drove very fast, only alighting at Basingstoke for a wretched breakfast and at Devizes to have the wheels greased and in the evening time took a little walk about the town. It is a very pleasant carriage, at Marlborough they put down the head. Addressed to Miss Brown at Miss Sammings Mudeford near Christchurch Hants.
