Was also waiting for a reply from Mr Carter concerning the threshing machine and his wish to erect one, however due to problems he will not be permitted to this year. Mentions the work on the [river?] bank which has been finished. Lady Hamond is carrying out the business of her mother's concerns. Written from Fitzroy Square.
