It included letters to Hamish Hamilton, Christopher Sinclair-Stevenson, Gillon Aitken and others at the firm. The carbon copy letters are of the letters sent to Hill from the firm.
Also includes a letter from Susan Hill to Maurice Edelman, dated 12 October [1964] and passed on to Hamish Hamilton.
This correspondence includes a letter dated 24 September 1976 from Hill to Christopher Sinclair-Stevenson in which she states that she has set aside 'Land of Lost Content' and does not foresee writing any more stories
