The letter of June 1973 encloses a photocopy of a review of 'The Bird in the Night' by Paul Theroux, from 'New York Times Book Review', 27 May, 1973.
These letter provide the other side of the correspondence found in 'Susan Hill Papers' (see box 31). The letters found here begin in 1970 and continue to 1976. In many cases, the letters are responses to Johnson's letters, and cover the same subject matter about her books, publishers, and the personal lives of both.
