Content description
The first complete typescript, which was sent a chapter at a time to ffrench Blake and whose comments are written in green ball-point pen throughout. Thesiger’s subsequent corrections were made in red ball-point pen. Some of the chapters are represented by more than one version in the file when additional revisions have been made.
